My name is Amanda, I do a fair amount of freelance web development, and I am 24 years old. I've coded this statement to automatically calculate my age based on the current date and whether it is on or after my birthday. That's the kind of person I am, I think it's really cool when a line of code can tell you how old you are on any given day of the year instead of having to update it yourself every time you have a birthday. I think some things should be easier for the end-user and for the person updating the website regularly, not easier for the developer. Cutting corners has never been my thing and I'm always looking for anything I can do or anything I can add-in that makes it easier for you, your clients, and your customers.
I'm always looking to learn something new. I like to think that it's not possible to finish learning or to finish improving. There is no such state as "done" in these areas and I intend to continue striving for excellence even long after I achieve it. The most common identifier I hear about me within 30 seconds of meeting a new person is "Ambitious" and I revel in the idea. I've got big hopes and aspirations and they're not even remotely out of reach, given the hard work necessary to achieve them.

My boss actually suggested "Web Goddess" be my official job title, but I chose to stick with "Marketing Coordator" because it has a more professional ring to it. Dealing with the web, branding, and marketing is what I do, so that you don't have to.
